Rosy Hues

With Spring weather making more of an appearance and looking like it might just be sticking around atleast for the rest of the week (trying not to jinx anything), I’ve been reaching for rosy hue’d products.

I do suffer from redness but I still find that pink based products can really lift my complexion and make for a fresh look. The Josie Maran Coconut Watercolour Cheek Gelee is so sheer but pigmented I love it for a natural yet noticeable spring/summer look. I definitely think it has better lasting power on the cheeks rather than lips but it can be used on both. If applying it with fingers just make sure to wash your hands after application as this is definitely more of a stain than a cream however I like to apply mine with a stippling sort of blush brush. I have this in the shade Pink Escape. Clarins Instant Light Natural ip Perfector is my favourite lipgloss of all time, it’s the only one I find truly not sticky. It does a great job of hydrating the lips and giving them a glossy plumped up look. The colour is sheer but now available in eight different shades and easily layered on top of other lip colours, in Jersey it’s available in Voisins. For a more pigmented lip colour I like Tom Ford’s Lip Colour in Indian Rose it has great pigmentation and can be patted into lips for a subtle look or built up to be a more solid lip colour. The texture, colour and packing of this lipstick is so beautiful and it is expensive for a lipstick but it is a product of great quality. In Jersey you can pick it up in De Gruchys.

It’s so gorgeous, it perfect on pale skin or when I have a deeper tan in the summer! Let us know if you get one, would love to read your review of it ☺️
