When myself and Laura were lucky enough to visit Paris last October it was the first time for us both in the city of love, me being the man in this duo and with the European championships on at the moment, it reminded me of when we visited Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche.
For those of you unaware like I was, Le Bon Marché located in the heart of Paris was the first modern department store and by de facto the oldest as it continues to exist today. It prides its self on luxury products, fashion, living and includes an impressive food hall which is where I was fortunate enough to grab my Brooklyn Brewery haul.
Of all the places in the world, Paris was certainly not where I was expecting to pick up a selection of Brooklyn Brewery beers. At the time we visited, Le Bon Marché had a Brooklyn-themed installation, which made sense after about 10 minutes when the food hall had Brooklyn-themed everything! To my amazement, I was fortunate enough to grab a haul of beers which I would have otherwise never had been able to drink without doing another brewery tour in New York, locally only the Lager is available.
Brooklyn Brewery is one of my favourite breweries and their lager was the first beer I ever truly appreciated and enjoyed after drinking spirits and cider for years. It was such a welcomed surprise for me discovering Brooklyn Brewery for sale in Le Bon Marché as well as other great Brooklyn brands such as Morris Kitchen and Cocktail Crate, with Euro 2016 happening I couldn’t resist waiting to savour my haul. As a side note if you are ever visiting Paris, definitely visit Le Bon Marché the decor alone inside is worth it.
