Firstly, you should know I am marginally obsessed with West Elm, I mean if they were hosting a belly button cleaning workshop… I would be there. That is how deeply rooted my obsession with the brand goes. After scrolling through my Instagram feed earlier today, while taking full advantage of the free wifi at Dishoom (see Instatories for more details). I saw that West Elm was hosting the 91 Magazine pop-up shop, bringing together creative and inspiring makers, crafters and independent goodies- aka something that is completely up my street. Well, I was planning on visiting the store at some point during my trip anyway, this just acting as a catalyst to me stopping by I hopped on the tube and after a few wrong turns, ok more than a few I made it.
Dotted throughout the store, carefully selected independent seller had set up a selection of their own goodies for shoppers to browse. I can’t think of a better place to pick up gifts for your friends a family (or in my case mainly for myself) and the best part was that they are all under one roof.
The latest edition of 91 Magazine is a dream and the West Elm store itself overflowing with homeware treasures. With designers such as Lollipop, The Lovely Drawer, Botanique Workshop, Reste and Nancy Straughan and more it really is worth a visit. Loved being able to talk to the faces behind the brands and ask them questions, it really is worth a visit. I picked up more than my fair share but I didn’t want to ruin anyone’s Christmas surprised so I’ve only shown you a small selection of what I picked up.
