October flew by so fast, I can’t believe we’re really in November… anyone else? During Autumn, I find myself wishing I’d worked harder earlier in the year towards my goals. My mindset could be if I’d worked harder then, I’d be further now. But instead, I’m even more determined to work on myself in the months to come, starting with the end of 2017 and continuing on throughout next year.
- See my sister. I haven’t seen my sister since last year and I’m seeing her this month in London which I am so excited about. I’m from a very big family and I love that I’ve managed to book in time with so much family this coming month. It makes things feel so seasonal too wrapping up in layers and sipping tea together.
- Keep calm about the wedding. Even though we got engaged so recently, I am starting to understand why wedding stress is a thing. We haven’t set a date and want to enjoy being engaged and start making some of the decisions about our wedding day next year. No matter how many times we say that to friends, family and co-workers… we’re getting a lot of questions and there have been times I’ve wanted to just shut everyone out. Fortunately, I’ve had Danny by my side, he’s so understanding and I would love to get to the end of the year without stressing about what will be one of the happiest days of my life.
- Get back into meal prepping and budgeting. Since being back from holiday we’ve eaten out so much. I haven’t been able to food shop properly as we haven’t been around to eat the food I would have bought. Prepping food in advance is a great way to save money and be more conscious of your health. Fingers crossed I can do my best before the Chrsitmas parties start.
- I’d love to create some wedding content. It’s so early days for us, but I honestly don’t know where to start when it comes to planning. I can only imagine many other brides-to-be have felt that way too. I’d love to be able to look back and be able to remember the excitement that comes with being engaged.
