If you’re a regular around these parts, you’ll know that I’m aiming to reduce my beauty wardrobe drastically. Either by donating unloved products to friends or using them up myself. Here’s the latest tried and tested from shopping my own shelfs.
Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts
These bath salts are raved about and hailed as the cure for sleepless nights. I’d debated purchasing in the past and when I received this sample, I held onto it for the longest time. I didn’t want to not have the option of using them. I bit the bullet and tried them and they’re nice, but value for money… give me these with a few drops of good quality essential oil and I’m happy.
This really is a great cleanser. I love the formula, it’s great for my sensitive, dehydrated, hormonal skin. I love it as a first cleanse as it removes makeup effectively but gently. I also love it for a second cleanse as the oil formula really allows you to massage the product into your skin before rinsing. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling squeaky or stripped. Its price point is great as you get a lot of product and it lasts a long time. The only downside for me is that the packaging isn’t good for travelling. I wish it had a pump. I will definitely be repurchasing this, I’m not sure I can wait to make my way through the rest of my stash of cleansers though. I’m feeling a bit lost since running out.
I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair ( I really wish I had more patience with it). I picked this hydrating hair mask up in Sephora and really enjoyed using it. I loved that it was in a tube as I find a lot come in tubs- I always drip water in them and dilute the product. This product did make my hair super soft and I would recommend it.
My skin has never been flawless and in a bid to keep it relatively revealable… being moisturised is key. I loved this Bioderma body wash as it feels incredibly hydrating. This creamy gel is perfect for sensitive skin as it has no fragrance or preservative and is even suitable for babies. The perfect shower gel for these colder months too.
I don’t think my love affair with Glossier will end anytime soon, nearly 2 years since I first used the brand and I’m still going strong! I’ve used this mask sparingly for so long but now Glossier is in the UK, I can repurchase easily and never again will I hesitate in fear of running out. Everyone should own this mask. Dewy skin is guaranteed. You only need to apply a thin layer- I’ve even slept in this, using it as an overnight mask. It really does leave you with the perfect canvas ( I’m already onto my next tub).
